Investment Terms
All campaigns will offer revenue-based financing (RBF) repayment, paying back investors proportionally with a percentage of the co-op's gross revenue. RBF terms will offer a 10% ROI minimum. Campaigns can also offer unique perks for specific investment thresholds.
Our simple and investor-friendly terms try to minimize the risks involved in investment:
- Free Registration: sign up at no cost.
- Flat 7.5% Investment Fee: no other costs for investors.
- Refund Policy: If a campaign ends before success, investors are refunded (minus investment fee).
How Much Can I Invest?
Federal regulations split investors into two types – accredited and non-accredited. Accredited investors have no limits to how much they can invest. For the rest, we calculate and enforce the legal annual maximum across all campaigns per investor.
These formulas clarify how annual income and net worth determine non-accredited investor limits:
- If both annual income and net worth individually are $124,000 or greater, you can invest up to 10% of the higher number. This cannot exceed $124,000.
- If either your annual income or net worth are below $124,000, you can invest up to 5% of the higher number.
- At minimum, anyone can invest $2,500 per year.
